Bassai- Temple of Apollo:

This temple is known for its unusual design. The temple was commissioned by the Phygaleans to show gratitude to the god who saved the people over there from a cholera epidemic. Archaeological Museum- Delos:

This museum is the home to one of the major collections of the site Delos, but some of the finest are still in some national museums. One can find the works of Archaic Art in the first two central rooms. One can also see here a sphinx, several kouroi and kourai and lots more, here. It is also home to the some of the finest sculptures, paintings, terracotta. So again history beckons you and don’t say no to it!

Sacred lake:

To the west of the lake, in the terrace one can find a row of nine marble lions belonging to Naxian marble. In the north, one can find the Old and New Palaistra, in the northeast one can find the sanctuary of Heros Archegates and the Gymnasion and Stadion and the northwestern side is built against the rock. So again a bit of history will chill you here!

Methoni Castle:

This beautiful castle is centered on the bridge built by the French troops. Here one can find the Venetian bastions of 15th and 18th centuries. When you pass through left one can find the granite Morosini. To the right one can see the Turkish remains along with a gate. To the right one can see a wall rising above the edge of the rock. On the south one can see the islands Sapientza and Shiza. Also one can notice the remains of an imposing building. And beyond that one can see a gate opening to the bay!! Valley of Butterflies:

Traveling 16 km from the Rhodes Airport via Kalamonas leads to the beautiful valley of brownish red butterflies. This place is best suited for visits in summer. So don’t miss out on this place because it is just an opportunity which will not be given again and again. Nature is beautiful and one can admire its beauty here!!

Lion Statue (Amphipolis):

The lion statue made up of stone is hidden in a gymnasium here. The gymnasium is a collection of all Greek excavations. The lion statue made of stone is really a treat to watch for the tourists. This majestic stone lion of the Hellenistic period stands out tall west of the bridge over Strymon.

Paros Museum:

This museum consists of inscriptions of the inhabitants of the city who lived in the seventh century B.C along with funerary relief, sculpture. Also Cycladic Idols and the fragments of “Marmor parium” is found here. To the east of the museum on can find the Hellenistic Tomb, beyond the rear wall of the cathedral which is a well preserved monument of the museum.

Life Saving Spring Church (Batsi):

It is a collection of churches like Orthodox Church (Life giving spring), The Roman Catholic Church of St.Andrews, the little museum of sea faring and the museum of modern art.
